Great place to meet before and after a game at TD gardens
Best dive in the area!
Whoever the girl bartender was is extremely rude.
Cheap drinks, good fans. Damn near across the street from the garden.
I will always love Sully's... There is no better place to grab beers before a Bruins game. The staff is local and that's what makes it great. Where else can you have pizza with the tender? Happy Travels!TimothyOLA Travel & Leisure "Traveling The World, Together"
A must before any Garden event
Out of Guinness the first time I went. Guinness was warm and smelled off the second time. They need a good line cleaning and better cooling Perlick" setup. Draft beer should be cold. Stick to bottles.
Longest bar with the worst service. Don't waste your time going here. The bartender didn't even look at us when we were sitting right next to people he was serving.
Sully's has been our go-to place before games & concerts at the Garden, but our most recent visit was REAL disappointing. Half the vintage Boston Sports Memorabilia has been removed from the walls (down on the Canal St Side anyways) which is half the mystique of the bar. Someone clearly didn't plan the weekend properly because the bar was out of Bud Light and Coors Light, but when I asked the bartender what I could have his response was 'whatever you want my man'....clearly not. It seems like a much younger staff, maybe they're not as experienced yet because while I don't think they meant ill, but they tried to prop the bar door open while guests were inside....it was 30 degrees out and flooded the bar with the smell of cigarettes. Hoping it was just a bad day, and they're able to get back to the same identity that made the place so lovable to those of us who don't want the uber-fancy new-wave club style bars where patrons have to over pay for the flair for a bottle of beer.
Love all the pub stops! Think I was here! Lol
Longest bar in Boston. Perfect for beers before going to TD Garden
Stopped in after a Bruins game for a beer with my brother in law and nephew. I held the door open for them and two strangers so I was the last one in. As I was reaching for my id (I’m 50 with grey hair but I know the drill) the bouncer said “you’re not getting in here tonight, I didn’t like the way you came through the door”. I had one beer at the game in the first period! Told me there were plenty of other bars in the neighborhood. Would’ve loved to have gone anywhere else but my guys were inside so I walked to the other entrance where I was welcomed in. Last time I stop there after a game.
They offer bag storage for those that happen to forget that you can't bring in large bags to a TD place game night. Thank you so much for the excellent service and smooth transaction. $10 a bag and just a few blocks away, saved me a lot of trouble of heading back to my hotel and I enjoyed the rest of my Bruins game tonight. Thanks guys.
Its not the most glamorous, but have a good beer selection, pool tables and bar games.
Love this place. Must stop in before all Garden games.
Great bar to pregame the Bs game!!
Nice bar, reasonable drink prices and a good selection on tap. Really close to TD Garden and just enough off the path that it wasn't packed right before the show we went to
Wasn't sure what to order but bartenders suggestion was good and tasty
Decent bar. I loved the vibe and the bartenders but it literally smelt like my grandma's basement. A great dive bar, not a great bar for anything else.
Great place for drinks before a game! The bar is cash only so be prepared. They do have an ATM in the back by the pool table. I went the night of a Bruins game so it was a little packed but the service was quick nonetheless. I recommend. Check it out before a game it's a minute from the Garden!
Old school charm, dive bar experience. Next to TD Garden, great location. A museum of the way bars were before. Cash only.
My go to after a Celtics game. It's a classic dive bar.
Awesome casual bar. Carlos the bartender was extremely attentive and friendly.
A dive bar in a hot bed of bars and restaurants, so you know they're doing something right- and that's serve cold beer (cash only) to sports fans. Great hockey crowd before and after games, even if your'e an opposing fan coming to see a game. Go Flyers.
Went to watch a Celtics game. Even though the TV's lost signal right before tipoff the bartender was apologetic and friendly. They have arcade games and a pool table. It is also across from the TD Garden so going to the bar before or after an event is a must. I also believe they can check bags for a small fee for people that bring them to the Garden and didn't realize the Garden has a "no bag" policy.
Dive bar, smelly. Cheaper drinks. Pool table basketball hoop game. Service is ehhhh. Not as fun as it used to be.
Cheap drinks in a dive before a TD Garden event
If I could give 0 I would this was the worst experience i have ever had. I have never been denied entry into a bar. They say they are open until 2am. It was after the Celtics game at 1130 and I was told “we’re not letting anyone else in” by a rude man at the door. There was hardly anyone in there so I believe this is a hate crime. You should really get your act together. DO NOT GO HERE. it’s trash inside anyways and smells like pee so I know I didn’t miss anything.
It was everything I imagined it would be.
RIP Sully's you were the greatest sports bar pre and post Celtics games. I'll always miss your cheap drinks, fun physical arcade games and the never forgettable smell of bleach and piss mixed together. I love you Sully's and I'm sad to see what overpriced trendy sports bar will replace you. Long live the longest bar in Boston.
Awesome place for a chiller after the game.
Dive bar by North station. Two entrances, one on each side of the building. Great lively crowd for Bruins games! They don't serve food but they have a decent draft beer selection and a full liquor bar. Decent amount of bar seats and they have some game machines and a pool table as well.
Terrible just like I remembered it. Poor service closed early. Go to Fours much better.
The. Pirfact spot. To. Watch a. MMA. Fight. After working at. The. Garden beer. Are. Cheap cheap
If you're ever in Boston and you end up coming to the Celtics game you got to check out Sullivan's tap it's a local dive that we've been coming to as kids and as adults. A little rowdy crowd if you're not from these parts it's going to feel a little sketchy but it's the best nothing but love here until the bouncer start kicking you out because you drinking past closing time welcome to Boston definitely get a beer here or some shots🍻🍺🍷
We definitely were not welcomed here even though the place was empty.
It‘s alright. Offers no tables and you can only sit at the bar. Staff unfriendly. Cool vibe though.
Longest bar in Boston! They have every beer you need and some duck hunting too
This place never disappoints but especially tonight...Carlos was absolutely phenomenal tonight before and after we went to tonights Celtics game.. the rest of the staff was great too
Great staff and service. Plenty of fun with pool, basketball, arcade games and Juke box
Nice Boston dive spot to grab a beer before the game.
Cool place
Good old Boston bar. Don't expect the best but you get a local experience and that is all that matters.
Ordered 2 Miller Lite Bottles and the cap was rusted on with mold all over the bottle .
Fun dive bar popular to locals on game day
Nice little bar to get pregamed before the game!!Sometimes it’s difficult to get an order in, because of the many people in there.
Great dive bar. Quick friendly service, prices not bad for the vicinity. We will be back.
Awesome dive bar. Just like back home. Stopped here on my way to Spain coming san Francisco, nice break. Cash only tho
Best place to go before a Bruins game.
